The process
1. Email or call to discuss the portrait you have in mind. Attach a JPEG, if you send an email.
2. It's best to work with the highest resolution file possible. Click on the button below to send your file using the YouSendIt online service. There is no fee for this online service, and no registration or download is required.
3. We'll email you a JPEG of the work in progress, for your approval, and will make any changes you require. The job is not done until you (and your client) are happy with the painting. You pay nothing until you have approved the final image. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
4. Once you are satisfied with the image, we will send you the full-size file. Your finished photopainting file can be sent directly to your printer/service bureau, or we can recommend a professional print service for you.
Fee schedule
Fees are modest and include any necessary retouching and/or modifications to the original photograph. See the "Before and After" page for examples. You retain the copyright to the final image. We do not sign the image.
A Work of Art is a service available only to professional photography studios. We are a service provider, similar to a color lab, supporting the portrait photography industry. Contact us via phone or email for current pricing information.
